Puerto Portals is the glitzy marina located at Portals Nous located on the south coast of Mallorca and just 9km west of Palma, was inaugurated in 1986.
With designer shops and boats that are more like ocean liners than pleasure yachts it is the favoured hangout for royalty and celebrities.
There is only a small beach but its nice and clean, and tucked out of the way..its worth seeking out.
 There is a good choice of well know restaurants including the Famous Wellies Bar, Flanigans and of course Cappuccino Cafe. |
It is the location for sporting events including several major yachting regattas, vintage car & Harley Davidson reunions, exhibitions and the Three Kings Festival and Carnival Parade at the beginning of the year.
Puerto Portals is definitely worth a visit even if its only to look at all the luxury yachts and supercars flying around whilst enjoying a coffee.
